SOCIAL IMPACT
At BWC, we define social Impact as those intangibles created through our engagement with our clients. The economic and professional growth we create for various enterprises is only one part. The personal growth described in client feedback and witnessed within the leadership, employees, vendor partners and the various communities where the clients reside and conduct business equates to the social value.
What does this mean? At BWC, we apply a holistic approach to addressing our clients' needs. We strive to empower, enlighten and elevate.
While some might say this is economic impact, it is that occurrence that leads to and enhances social impact. The Towne Center will be the first lifestyle center inside the City of Memphis and the first capital project where developers used 80% minority participation, with businesses in the community. Once open in the fall of 2008, it will create 179 new jobs, of which 52 percent will be white collar professional and/or management level positions.

By only partnering with those who embraced this concept of "people", who prioritized human capital, and believed that people can take care of themselves and their families, our client was afforded the unparalleled ability to create jobs and opportunities that would lead to wealth creation.
The Goodwill, the intangible of pride and enthusiasm the residents and stakeholders exude has made this the fulcrum of the community's redevelopment and revitalization. Hence the social impact where we have created a sense of place for people to truly live, work and play.
